How to follow a subreddit in Home Assistant

Home Assistant can read RSS feeds and fire events when new items arrive. If yours reads a Reddit .rss link, it stops on November 13, 2026. Point it at a Redditrss feed.

Add the feed

1. Create the feed at Redditrss and copy the feed link.
2. In Home Assistant, go to Settings, Devices & services and add the Feedreader integration.
3. Paste the link as the feed URL and finish.

Use it in automations

• Trigger a mobile notification when a new post arrives.
• Show the latest titles on a dashboard card.
