How to follow a subreddit in NetNewsWire

NetNewsWire subscriptions that point at a Reddit .rss link stop updating on November 13, 2026. Replace them with a Redditrss feed and your reading list stays the same.

Add a subreddit

1. Create the feed at Redditrss and copy the feed link.
2. In NetNewsWire, choose File, New Web Feed (or press Command-N).
3. Paste the link into the URL field.
4. Pick a folder and click Add.

Replace an existing Reddit subscription

1. Right-click the old Reddit feed and choose Delete, or keep it until November 13 to compare.
2. Add the Redditrss link as above and move it into the same folder.

Syncing through iCloud or another service carries the new feed to your other devices. More background: what happens to Reddit RSS on November 13.
