Reddit RSS URLs: what each old pattern becomes
Reddit's native feeds were Atom documents at predictable addresses. All of them stop on November 13, 2026. Find your pattern below to see what to use instead.
Old patterns and replacements
| Old pattern | What it gave you | After November 13 |
|---|---|---|
reddit.com/r/NAME/.rss | Subreddit, default sort | Create a Redditrss subreddit feed (newest posts) |
reddit.com/r/NAME/new.rss | Newest posts, best for monitoring | Same: a Redditrss subreddit feed returns the newest posts |
.../top.rss?t=week, rising.rss | Top or rising posts | Not offered. Redditrss returns newest posts |
reddit.com/r/a+b+c/.rss | Several subreddits in one feed | One Redditrss feed per subreddit. The $19 plan has unlimited feeds |
reddit.com/search.rss?q=... | Reddit search as a feed | A topic feed, with an AI filter that removes off-topic posts |
reddit.com/r/NAME/search.rss?q=...&restrict_sr=1 | Search inside one subreddit | Use a topic feed. Per-subreddit scoping is not offered |
reddit.com/user/NAME/.rss | One account's posts and comments | Not offered |
reddit.com/r/NAME/comments.rss | Latest comments in a subreddit | Not offered |
Patterns come from a published reference of Reddit's feed addresses (WP RSS Aggregator, 2026). The position of .rss mattered: top.rss?t=week worked, top?t=week.rss did not.
Why a plain swap is not always possible
Reddit says there is no replacement for outside feeds of communities you do not moderate, so every option is a third-party service. See the alternatives compared, or start with what stops working.
